Position Summary

At United We Dream (UWD), technology and data play a big role in achieving our goals of dignity for our families and undocumented people across the country. We’re looking for a visionary team member to join the UWD team with an understanding of grassroots organizing who loves data and whose attitude to technological limitations is: “let’s find a solution.”
The Reporting and Data Analyst position is ideal for someone who is experienced at building, maintaining, and working with large, complex databases, data structures, and metadata to ensure consistency, security, and accessibility.
Reporting to UWD’s National Data Manager, and working with UWD’s internal departments, the Reporting and Data Analyst is responsible for contributing to organizational improvement by gathering and analyzing data, preparing reports, and regularly improving reporting processes. They will be responsible for keeping current data clean and consistent, and identifying and recommending changes and upgrades to the database, and facilitate data migrations and/or integration guided by UWD’s strategic goals and programmatic work. In addition, and more importantly, the Reporting and Data Analyst will be responsible for facilitating the translation of raw data from multiple sources into actionable information and be proactive with analyzing and interpreting data to ensure a high level of accuracy and timely delivery of reports that are accurate and useful to UWD staff.

This is a full time position based out of UWD’s Washington DC Office. Although not required a major plus if you are multilingual.
