About The Team And The Role

P&C Solutions is one of the three pillars within Swiss Re Reinsurance. The pillar aims to add value to clients’ original business by providing solutions and services across the value chain. The P&C Analytics Solutions team channels and develops solutions and services for our clients across the (re)-insurance value chain. Our clients' needs are at the heart of what we do, as we make sure that our solutions and services help our clients grow and make commercial sense. Data analytics team works very closely with the product owners of the risk assets in the property, commercial and casualty lines of business across geographies.

Key Roles And Responsibilities

• Work closely with the commercial analytics team with offerings related to go-to-market strategy, sustainability etc.
• Help in creating product road map, strategic planning, feature descriptions and define priorities
• Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional teams for building/implementing features
• Requirement gathering from various stakeholders to assess and tailor products offerings
• Evaluating external data sources to do the necessary quality checks, governance etc. for POCs
• Develop dashboards for tracking KPIs required for the product usage, financial metrics, data etc.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 6+ Years of business analysis experience with a quantitative background (engineering, statistics, economics)
• Created business requirement docs, growth strategy, proposals etc.
• Strong project management skills with great attention to detail and accuracy
• Good at visualization tools to build dashboards such as PowerBI, Dash, R-shiny
• Fair data analytics skills using Python/R/SQL in Azure environment
• Ability to work on green field projects and agile needs as the product matures
• Exposure to financial services industry and product team would be preferred
