The Office of Recoveries & Fraud Investigations identifies situations where social services benefit programs were obtained inappropriately and identifies and seeks recovery when the state is owed money if social services program benefits were overpaid due to error, fraud, or if other resources are responsible to pay first. The Policy/Data Analyst is responsible for reviewing processes, reviewing and developing policies and procedures, conducting research and surveys, and data collection and analysis. This position will work primarily within our Third Party Liability recovery area to help identify and collect from liable third party insurance companies.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Knowledge of:

  • data collection process;
  • data analysis techniques;
  • research or survey methodology;
  • applicable computer software and operating systems.

  • prepare study outlines and proposals for projects;
  • collect and compile data using scientific processes;

  • interpret and apply laws, rules, policies, and procedures;
  • create progress reports and final reports;
  • recommend solutions to address short- and long-term needs;
  • seek out creative solutions;
  • analyze and evaluate operational situations and complex federal regulations.
