Overview

As a Data Analyst Intern in the Analytics Department, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the team with data analysis and insights generation. Your work will contribute to the development and optimization of various business strategies by leveraging data-driven decision-making. This internship will provide valuable hands-on experience in data analytics within a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and clean data from various sources for analysis
• Assist in the development of data models and algorithms
• Conduct statistical analysis and data mining
• Create data visualizations and dashboards to communicate insights
• Support in the preparation of reports and presentations based on analytical findings
• Assist in identifying trends and patterns in complex data sets

Required Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
• Demonstrated proficiency in SQL for data retrieval and manipulation
• Strong programming skills in Python for data analysis and manipulation
• Sound understanding of statistical methods and concepts
• Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar
• Experience with Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
• Ability to work with large datasets and databases
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Attention to detail and accuracy in work
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks
• Knowledge of machine learning algorithms is a plus
• Familiarity with data mining and cleaning techniques
