Senior Data Engineer (Bern/Zurich) Hybrid

Your mission

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will have the opportunity to bring Open Systems Threat Intelligence platform to the next level by enabling our customers to get the most seamless experience to manage and operate their global network and security. Together with Product owner, platform enginners and other data engineers you will shape, specify, and implement solutions that emphasize the value of strong IT security services, leverage technologies that operate at scale, and provide intelligent insights into security-relevant data and processes.

You will join one of our small development teams that works with agile methods. The team will rely on you to focus on its goals and efforts as a team player while being able to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications

At least 3 years of experience in the following technologies

Backend

• Extensive knowledge of at least one of the following languages: Golang, Python, Node.js
• GraphQL API
• Elasticsearch
• Work experience with distributed systems
• Unit testing and testing principles
  
  
  

Frontend

• JavaScript/TypeScript
• Material-ui
• Code style best practices (ESLint)
  
  
  

Deployment

• Kubernetes or OpenShift
  
  
  

Bonus Points

• Experience with Data Science frameworks (TensorFlow or PyTorch)
• Contributions to open source projects
• Knowledge of Scala
