Responsibilities


Job Description
  • Carry out data analytics, research, and response for variances
  • Undertake analysis on inventory levels, aging, and obsolescence
  • Responsible for preparing and reporting progress of monthly inventory forecast
  • Responsible for the management of excess and obsolescence
  • Develop performance metrics and reporting tools, and establish ad-hoc reporting to enhance department efficiency
  • Responsible for analyzing data and generating monthly dashboards/reports to ensure inventory accuracy
  • Responsible for identifying the root cause of all inventory adjustments
  • Responsible for identifying and implementing process improvements as required.
  • Collect data on supply chain operations.
  • Analyze data to identify areas of supply chain operations to improve efficiency.
  • Develop and execute projects to enhance supply chain operations.
  • Measure supply chain performance and report to management.
  • Work with the procurement, logistics and IT departments to enhance service delivery.
  • Interprets date, analyzes results using statistical techniques and provides ongoing reports, including, but not limited to:
    • Gathering and analyzing company spend, supply market data, and other related commercial information to drive value from supply chain activities.
    • Providing analytical support for category sourcing initiatives, contract negotiations, and bid evaluations.
    • Monitoring and evaluating supply risks.
    • Supporting the Supplier Performance Management process.
    • Developing tools and processes in Power BI, Microsoft Excel to improve the efficiency of analytical work.


Qualifications And Skills


  • Proven knowledge of inventory management and standard Inventory and Supply chain KPI’s.
  • Working knowledge of data analysis and forecasting tools and ability to develop actionable insights from data.
  • Experience in production and inventory management and ability to operate a computerized inventory system
  • Experience with complex logistics planning, vendor relationship management, and future forecasting.
  • Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
  • Excellent organizational, communication, collaborative, and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated, strong analytical thinking capability, proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Microsoft Office applications; Advanced Excel skills, including Macros, Filters, V-Lookups, Pivot Tables. SQL query experience a plus.
  • Power BI or like toolset experience.
  • Two or more years’ experience in a supply management role or related position
  • Bachelor’s Degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or related field is preferred
