Job description

Responsibilities

Design and implement data models that support business requirements, and integrate with various data sources and platforms.
Develop and maintain data pipelines using ETL tools such as Apache Airflow or AWS Glue.
Build and maintain data infrastructure such as data warehouses and data lakes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data quality, reliability, and accuracy.
Monitor and optimize data loads and pipelines for performance and scalability.
Perform data analysis to support business decisions and identify trends and patterns in large datasets.
Stay up-to-date with emerging data technologies and tools to continually improve Pollen's data management capabilities.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java or Scala.
Hands-on experience with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
Experience with data warehousing, ETL, and data modeling techniques.
Ability to design and implement data pipelines using tools such as Apache Airflow or AWS Glue.
Working knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
