The CIB Data Engineering & Architecture Team is looking for a Technical Lead to design and build the next-gen Data Catalog.
The CIB Data Engineering & Architecture team delivers products and platforms to solve CIB's most complex data challenges. As a Senior Software Engineering (Vice President), your mission is to help lead our team of innovators and technologists toward creating next-level solutions that improve the way our business is run. Your deep knowledge of design, analytics, development, coding, testing and application programming will help your team raise their game, meeting your standards, as well as satisfying both business and functional requirements. Your expertise in various technology domains will be counted on to set strategic direction and solve complex and mission critical problems, internally and externally. We are looking for a talented, enthusiastic leader to design and build our next-gen Data Catalog platform. The ideal individual will:
- Be self-motivated with an ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
- Have knowledge of data and information architecture
- Have worked with 12-factor application design and development
- Have full stack engineering experience
- Have expertise with React and related HTML5 toolkits
- Have had exposure to data catalog, data discovery and data governance challenges
- Have a demonstrated interest in emerging technology trends and products to solve the most complex data challenges
Experience in the following is desirable:
- On-prem and cloud-native architectures
- Financial services experience and an understanding of financial datasets and data analytics
