Senior Data Analyst - Product: Our Analytics team enables Housecall Pro and it's Pros to make analytics driven decisions, through culture, trust, accessibility and literacy. We are force-multiplier, egoless individuals with an ability to create extraordinary results. In this role, you are embedded in a team of data analysts, data engineers and data scientists and you'll work closely with cross-departmental teams, aimed at increasing acquisition, retention and revenue within the product. You'll support building the foundational data and process infrastructure, and delivering data products to support the business' objectives. You will work along the entire analytics value chain; starting with raw data sources to final data products. You will foster a culture of data-driveness through experimentation and data governance.

  • Turning loosely defined problems into practical analyses
  • Understanding the user and business context around data
  • Developing a strong business understanding of performance drivers
  • Being the data steward in the room with different kinds of stakeholders
  • Mentoring other analysts on the team and working with technical stakeholders
  • Data Stack: AWS, Snowflake, Tableau, Segment, Amplitude

The Project Areas:

  • Product Data Instrumentation for new feature launches
  • Building and establishing an experimentation framework
  • Enabling Functional and self-serve reporting across the organization
  • Defining key metrics with PMs and Execs

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Economics, or related field
  • 3-4 years experience in data analytics at a growth tech company
  • Strong in SQL
  • Conversant in our tech stack (Snowflake, Segment, Amplitude, Tableau)
  • Strong communication and project management skills
  • Analytical, techy, social, curious, confident
  • Being a team player
  • Strong integrity and empathy for what home service professionals do
  • Eager to own, build, drive, lead, have an impact and have lots of fun!
  • Product analytics experience is a plus!
  • Segment/Amplitude experience is a plus!
