Your role and responsibilities

Record to Report (R2R) team provides ABB superior value through collaborative, compliant, digitalized accounting & reporting process. We are the team that owns the R2R process operating model including the process & embedded internal controls.

We are seeking an analytical and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a KPI and Data Analyst.

  • Develop and implement KPI tracking and reporting systems & process, in collaboration with process owners, FAO teams and other analytics peers
  • Ensure definitions of KPIs, approach and support with data baselining, target setting, data availability and limitations and technical reporting solutions are documented systematically.
  • Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets to derive actionable insights & performance trends
  • Identify trends, patterns, and correlations in data to inform decision-making processes.
  • When needed, collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions
  • Prepare and present clear, concise, and visually appealing reports and dashboards
  • Utilize data visualization tools to effectively communicate complex data findings
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains through data analysis
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in KPI measurement and data analytics

Qualifications For The Role

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics) or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience as a data analyst or in a similar analytical role.
  • Working knowledge on SAP ECC, CFIN, BW, Group Reporting and Hyperion will help you have a speedy start.
  • Experience with business intelligence and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Power Apps, Celonis data mining and reporting, Qlik, etc)
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools. Proficiency on programming languages is beneficial.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Collaborator able to navigate through large organization and create a network of peers.
  • Capable of working independently and adapting to a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data findings in a clear and understandable manner.

  • Location of this role is flexible within Europe (not Switzerland) or within commuting distance of our hub in Bangalore.
