We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Machine Learning Engineer (m/f/d) to join our team in Vienna. As a Machine Learning Engineer (m/f/d), you will develop and deploy machine learning models that power our automation solutions. You will work closely with our Data Science team to design and implement algorithms that optimize financial processes, and you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects that have a significant impact on our clients' businesses.

Your Tasks:
  • Work with the team by efficiently implementing, and delivering data science projects.
  • Perform various experiments to test current and future machine learning approaches.
  • Conduct exploratory data analysis and feature engineering to extract insights and improve model accuracy.
  • Design and develop machine learning models to automate financial processes.
  • Work closely with software engineers to deploy machine learning models into our production environment.
  • Exploratory analysis of large datasets (Big Data) in an industrial environment.
  • Work on the system architecture of the data science components of our software solutions and optimize features in terms of scalability and performance.
  • Conduct research and stay up-to-date with the latest developments in machine learning and data science.

We are looking for someone who has:
  • Experience with working as a data scientist and developing machine learning models.
  • Knowledge of software development practices such as software design and coding, including source code management with git.
  • Proficiency in Python.
  • Ability to preprocess and manipulate data from various sources, such as databases, APIs, or flat files.
  • Solid statistics and data analysis skills (you can work with data).
  • Drive and excitement for modern machine learning, along with willingness to dive into new technologies such as large language models.
  • Curiosity, inquisitiveness and not afraid to change and improve systems.
  • Enjoy working in a highly dynamic startup or scale-up environment.

  • The minimum salary for this position is € 55,000, overpayment possible depending on qualifications.
