Develop company A/B testing framework and test model quality.
Mine and analyse data from company databases to drive optimization and improvement of product development, marketing techniques and business strategies.
Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets.
Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques.
Build and mentor a team of talented data, data scientists and machine learning engineers.
Conduct statistical analysis to provide insights and identify trends/opportunities
Provide thought leadership by researching best practices, conducting experiments, and collaborating with industry leaders.
Masters/PhD in computer science, statistics, operations research or related technical discipline.
4+ years of industry experience in working with Big Data.
Knowledge of a variety of machine learning techniques (clustering, decision tree learning, artificial neural networks, classification, forecasting, etc.) and their real-world implementation.
Experience working with and creating data architectures.
Technical expertise in a language of your choice, ability to rapidly prototype.
Experience in building and deploying end-to-end ML solutions that deliver product value.
Experience in handling large volumes of multidimensional data or unstructured data.
Good business and communication skills with an ability to validate and scientifically prove hypotheses for a given business problem.
Prior experience in building data for complex real time problems.
Experience visualizing/presenting data for stakeholders using: Periscope,Business Objects, D3, ggplot, etc.
