  • THIS ROLE IS CALLED RACING OPERATOR 1 INTERNALLY AT BSPOT The Racing Operator performs a variety of tasks related to live horse racing in support of multiple 24x7 TV broadcast channels and OTT platforms ensuring the accuracy of the races by monitoring the betting systems and taking appropriate remedial action if problems occur. This position requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail and is an exciting opportunity for a passionate horse racing enthusiast. Monitor multiple horse races at once in varying time zones to ensure accurate recording of start/end times as well as winners in the correct order.
  • Build and audit pools and race card data ensuring the data supplied by third parties is accurate.
  • Monitor races, identify incidents, and take immediate appropriate remedial action when incidents occur.
  • Monitor betting systems to ensure all incidents have been identified and noted and pay-outs are delayed when necessary.
  • Use critical analysis skills to proactively check for problems within races and escalate when required.
  • Maneuver through various CTV (Connected TV) and OTT (Over the Top – streaming) platforms quickly and comfortably.
  • Be on time and satisfy attendance requirements
  • Additional Skills & Qualifications:*
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience working in a process driven fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships.
  • Confident in the use of Microsoft Office product, Google Suite, and computer-based applications.
  • Ability to confidently make decisions while working under pressure.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Have the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
