AI/Machine Learning Engineer at R&D Department

The R&D Data Scientist will play a main role in team's AI/ML related research projects and overall team's activity on this field. This role will be responsible for collecting, mining and analyzing banking data and solving variety of business challenges via AI/ML methods. Predicted business scope of subjects includes : Money Laundering detection, enhancing clients’ experience through personalized communication and product offer, NLP and any other area of corporate banking (most of all) that can benefit from an alliance with AI/ML.

Key tasks:

• Environment Administration and Development of AI/ML solutions (Proof of Concepts) including propensity models, clustering, Anti Money Laundering detection systems and others, depending on project's needs.
• Cooperating with external vendors, startups, public institutions .
• Preparation of ad-hoc analysis referring to a vast spectrum of business challenges.
• Visualization, presentation of insights and recommendations to business partners.
• Ensuring development and execution of data-driven strategy.

Competencies:

• Analytical skills, solid SQL and at least average knowledge of Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning algorithms is a must.
• Good understanding of statistics.
• Knowledge of Python or R.
• 4GL knowledge will be considered an advantage.
• Knowledge of Hadoop family (Hive, Spark (including PySpark), Kafka, etc.) will be a strong asset.
• Understanding of banking business.

Experience:

• Experience in data analysis and modelling.
• Experience in the financial industry not required but is considered an advantage.
• Experience in data engineering not required but is considered an advantage.
• Project Management (at least a member perspective) skills are welcome.

Skills:

• Above-average work organization skills.
• Presentation skills.
• Good written and spoken English .

Qualifications:

• Preferably economics/IT higher education degree.
