These positions are located in the Predictive Modeling and Data Analytics chapter, a chapter within the Pharmaceutical Sciences function, where bioinformatics and biostatistics is a primary focus area. We closely collaborate with our therapeutic areas and functions to convert hypotheses into innovative therapeutics.

Job mission

In our team of bioinformaticians and biostatisticians, we bring together diverse expertise on pre-clinical, clinical and real world data in order to gain a deep understanding of the molecular mechanisms of the mode of action, safety and efficacy of small and large molecules. As a member of the team you will contribute to our prime responsibility of developing safe and efficacious drugs creating exceptional value for our portfolio and for patients.

Your impact

  • Be a key contributor and data analysis lead in cross-functional teams contributing to patient safety, biomarker discovery and development.

  • Support clinical trials that benefit from microbiome data as possible biomarkers (patient heterogeneity, drug efficacy…) and / or safety readouts.

  • Evaluate and develop tools and pipelines to manage, process, visualize and analyze metagenomics data from public or internal sources.

Your profile

  • PhD in computational biology, bioinformatics, statistics or related fields.

  • 2+ years of experience in academic or industry setting particularly in the area of microbiome data analysis and collection.

  • Proficiency in working with bioinformatics tools and methods, Strong background in statistics and/or machine learning.
