Description
Skiltrek is looking for a Sr. Data Analyst to help build out their team in the effort to optimize and improve their current products and services. They will be working daily with internal business Stakeholders from Product, BI, and Operations to try and gauge the expertise of these other teams. This company has seen an influx of questions from their stakeholders over the past year and this person will be responsible for looking at the data that has been collected (ex...survey responses) and working through what if scenarios and creating their own hypothesis on what the data means and how they can improve the user's experience. They will also be responsible for building out metrics for a variety of applications and working with the data team to build and push out reports. This person will be the SME for all of their different apps with the goal of making sense of key factor analysis and developing a well versed recommendation on why they can improve their products and services.

Work with stakeholders across the organization to identify data needs and develop solutions that meet business requirements
Research and understand data from various data sources/applications and leverage them to solve business questions
Extract, transform, and load data from various sources, including APIs, databases, and flat files
Develop and maintain automated processes that streamline data analysis and reporting
Use data analysis techniques to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data sets
Conduct statistical analyses and build predictive models using Python, document the approach and present findings to stakeholders
Ensure data quality and accuracy through data validation and testing
Perform adhoc analysis and identify opportunities to improve existing processes
Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data analysis

Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience working with call, case and order data from sources such as Salesforce, Remedy, NICE, IVR etc.
- Extracting data, transforming it by duplication and combining data, and loading data into the database so it really encapsulates what they were asking for when he mentioned the ability to understand and properly use data. Essentially gathering data from multiple sources and consolidating it into a single space
- It sounds like this role is a mix of an ETL Developer/Data Scientist/Data Analyst role
- Experience using Python for data analysis and predictive analytics
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Excel etc)
