Your Mission

Fun Plus is currently looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join our growing new games team!

As a Senior Data Scientist, you will be working with game teams and varied stakeholders to drive insights on our players that translate into creating better games and player experiences.

  • You will use internal and external data sources to develop analyses and give recommendations that drive the decision making of developing new games and finding new ideas.
  • You will translate business needs to technical requirements and A/B tests, and work with development teams to ensure correct implementation and tracking the right information to allow reaching the right conclusions.
  • You will help evolve the methodology and tools available within the organization. We're looking for someone who can use data science to take our games to the next level.

Your Responsibilities

  • Partner with product and game teams to assure that the most relevant data is identified, tracked, analyzed, and made into actionable insight across all our games.
  • Develop models, reporting, and dashboards.
  • Build and maintain a robust data culture across the business.
  • Manage our data flow and ensure data is at the heart of every decision we make.
  • Work with every team involved in creating awesome mobile games people love to play.
  • Shape the analytics agenda for the game, working closely with the game team to identify the key questions that data can help to solve.
  • Carry out ad-hoc analysis and deep-dives to help answer the key questions with insights and actionable recommendations and inform the product roadmap decisions.
  • Analyze market trends and transform them into actionable insights that can lead us to our next big hit.
  • Own the analysis task management for the game, set priorities and manage the relationship with the game team.

Your Profile

  • Minimum of four years experience.
  • A deep understanding of mobile games and the free-to-play market.
  • An ability to analyze large sets of data, produce actionable insights, and develop models in order to best utilize available data.
  • You are able to communicate complicated analysis outputs to non-technical audiences, utilizing visual storytelling and clear written summaries to get the key points across.
  • A willingness to work alongside production teams to ensure data consistency.
  • You'll need a strong technical understanding of data modeling, design, and architecture principles.
  • You'll be skilled with using SQL and R/Python.
  • The skills necessary to guide and scale a team of data scientists and game analysts.
  • Proactive, self-driven yet a good team player with a positive attitude!
  • Excellent time management skills, ability to consistently meet deadlines.
  • You should be able to communicate both in written and spoken English.
  • Occasional travel required.
