Job Description


Summary:


A techno-functional professional with good understanding of Statistical and Machine Learning techniques to solve complex business problems using structured and unstructured data from multiple sources to provide insights to drive business performance in pharmaceutical industry setting.

Strong statistical and machine learning background


Using structured and unstructured data from multiple sources to provide insights to drive business performance in pharmaceutical industry setting


Requirements:


  • Experience in analytical/data science role
  • Strong analytical mindset, with good attention to detail and ability to use analyses to gain insight into data
  • Strong statistical and machine learning background (e.g. Masters degree) including, but not limited to:
  • Time-series forecasting (e.g. Holt-Winters, ARIMA, prophet, LSTM, etc.)
  • Clustering (e.g. k-means, Gaussian mixtures, hierarchical methods, density methods, etc.)
  • Linear and logistic regression
  • Strong SQL, including good understanding of advanced functions and patterns (e.g. window functions, CTEs, etc.)
  • Experience programming in Python (prior use of R/SAS would also be helpful)
  • Experience using Databricks or another Spark-based system
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in an analytical role in the pharma industry would be a plus


Qualifications


Btech/Mtech/Msc-Stat/Any Post Graduate Degree
