What is the Opportunity?


This role presents a great opportunity for you to be a key facilitator for highest reporting standards to meet the business needs, in line with Group standards, Corporate Banking expectations, and any external requirements.


As champion for the unit's initiatives you will help us to Transform the Bank through the identification and implementation of operational improvements to improve the efficiency and impact of information, reporting and data management processes.


In this role you will


  • Design, manage and support the production and validation of a comprehensive suite of monthly business, credit and regulatory reporting MI and dashboards for use in a variety of key internal management reports
  • On an ongoing basis, critically review work practices and current processes while maintaining consistently high standards of output
  • Maintain and handle key data quality reporting metrics and monitoring processes for structured and unstructured data relating to CB customers, products and transactions across various CB and Group systems and datastores
  • Develop positive relationships with key CB business contacts and Group reporting to ensure business expectations are met
  • Respond to ad hoc data and reporting requests from senior management and key external stakeholders

You will have brilliant experience in SAS and/or SQL,


Knowledge of the Bank's Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) and experience of other data analytics tools would be advantageous but not necessary to apply for this role.


Essential Qualifications


Strong academic background / appropriate professional qualification in a data management or numerate subject area

The Digital & Operations team sits within the Chief Operating Office function within the Corporate Banking & Markets Division. We provide a critical business service to all of the Corporate Banking units that are involved in lending activities across multiple jurisdictions.


Our team is responsible for providing best in class credit, risk and information management support activities to all Corporate Banking businesses and jurisdictions - including internal service provider management, processes and procedures maintenance, credit support and analysis, operational risk / RCSA management, data quality management and reporting activities.


We are responsible for ensuring these processes effectively blend Corporate Banking's relationship & credit management capability with an innovative and agile strategy. We are focussed on finding and delivering better ways of operating for customers and colleagues alike.
