Our exciting opportunity…


We are currently looking to recruit a BI Senior Data Analyst to help us take our Business Intelligence function to the next level. Using data to unearth valuable insights, that drive strategic decision making, improve efficiency and maximise productivity.


As BI Senior Data Analyst, your day-to-day responsibilities will involve leading a small team of data analysts; managing the team resources to ensure that all business-as-usual activities are dealt with promptly, ad-hoc reporting requests are dealt with effectively and report development deadlines are met. Duties include but not limited to;


This is a very hands-on role, that will draw on your expertise, to not only coordinate and oversee the team, but to also play an active part in developing reporting and analysis solutions, as required.


To be successful in this role, you will need to be experienced in managing a team of Data Analysts (or similar), as well as having an in-depth knowledge of all aspects of BI, particularly development of Power BI reports and dashboards.


  • Manage, train and mentor a small team of Data Analysts
  • Lead the development of highly interactive Power BI reports and dashboards
  • Take ownership of business-as-usual activities
  • Perform data analysis using SQL, Power BI, Excel and other tools
  • Management of master data relating to fibre/wireless delivery projects
  • Produce ad-hoc reports and data analysis as required by the business
  • Triage new work requests and manage the lifecycle of those requests
  • Stakeholder engagement and requirements gathering
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies
  • Responsible for ensuring all work is accurate, relevant and communicated appropriately
  • Identify and develop opportunities for more effective data usage in the business


Your Skills And Experience….


  • Proven experience as a Lead/Senior Data Analyst or similar
  • Excellent Power BI skills Solid understanding of report / dashboard design
  • Solid knowledge of SQL – Solid knowledge of data warehouse / databases
  • Solid understanding of Business Intelligence concepts and practices
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse and disseminate information
