The gig in short: We are looking for a Marketing Data Analyst to join our rapidly growing technology department. This candidate will play a critical role in helping the marketing team make data-driven decisions by analyzing large sets of marketing data. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of marketing analytics and be able to use data to derive insights that will help improve the marketing strategy. What we want you to do: Dive into databases and extract data via MySQL, clean and prepare that data before insights can be driven Conduct thorough analysis of marketing data to help identify trends, patterns, and insights that will improve the marketing strategy Use data visualization techniques to create reports and presentations that effectively communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders Work closely with the marketing team to understand business objectives and help identify areas where data analysis can help drive better decision-making Develop and maintain dashboards that track key performance metrics and provide regular updates to stakeholders Collaborate with other data analysts and data engineers to ensure data accuracy and completeness Continuously monitor data quality, troubleshoot data anomalies, and develop processes to improve data integrity Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in marketing analytics and data science
What we are looking for and what you have to have: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or related field 3-5 years of experience in marketing data analytics, with a proven track record of using data to drive business decisions Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify patterns and insights from complex data sets Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, Looker Studio. or QlikView Proficient in MySQL and comfortable diving into databases to extra data Strong data cleaning skills and ability to prepare data for analysis Proficient in Hyros, Amplitude, and Looker Studio Preferred.
Experience with digital marketing platforms such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Ads, YouTube Ads or similar platforms Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Must be able to hit the ground running and work independently
Able to collaborate with multiple teams in a fast-past changing environment
