The Sales Strategy & Performance team, as part of Sales Operations, provides advanced analytic support to Consumers Energy’s Customer Experience department, especially Commercial & Industrial Sales department. The support includes performance management, target establishment, forecasting, visual management development and process improvements.
The role is responsible for developing, maintaining, managing and executing on critical and accurate visual management used by the Business Customer Care organization, and provides efficient and effective counter measures to identified gaps utilizing their problem-solving skills. This includes sales/business reporting, business intelligence, business analytics, early detection of gaps, and accurate forecasting. This role is the primary business point of contact, book of proof, for reporting data inquires, and sales analytics management. Additionally, the role is responsible to oversee the metrics and provide performance reporting to sales professionals, sales leadership, and organizational targets. The role provides the team guidance with data entry standards and reporting within the CRM, as well as resolving technical issues, acting as liaison between Sales and IT to request and implement system/data changes, and answering Sales data requests. The position partners with external and internal teams including Marketing, Products, Customer Strategy, Data & Performance to understand their goals and identify ongoing performance improvements through complex data extracts and quantitative analyses. A key component of the role includes passion around modeling (sales & financial), and leveraging technology including CRM or alternative tools, to drive efficiencies, growth, and customer experience.
This position will be in Livonia, MI., but the candidate will be able to work remotely.
