Responsibilities
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Design and implement data engineering solutions using Azure services and best practices.
- Develop, test, and monitor data pipelines and workflows using Azure Data Factory and Azure Synapse Analytics
- Perform data ingestion, transformation, and integration from various sources, such as relational databases, files, streams, and APIs.
- Optimize data performance, quality, and reliability using Azure Synapse Analytics, Microsoft Fabric, or Azure Databricks
- Implement data security and governance using Azure Key Vault, Azure Active Directory, and Azure Purview
- Support data analyst to visualization data using Azure Synapse Analytics, Microsoft Fabric, and Power BI
- Participate in Scrum software development life cycle using Azure DevOps and Git for code management and collaboration.
- Document and communicate data engineering solutions and architectures to stakeholders and clients.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and innovations and service features / developments in data engineering and Azure technologies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related field
- At least 3 years of experience in data engineering or related roles
- Proficient in SQL, Python, Scala, or other programming languages
- Strong knowledge of data engineering concepts, such as data modeling, data warehousing, data lake, ETL, ELT, and data quality
- Hands-on experience with Azure data engineering services, such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake Storage, and Microsoft Fabric
- Familiarity with Azure data security and governance services, such as Azure Key Vault, Azure Active Directory, and Azure Purview
- Experience with data analysis and visualization tools, such as Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Analysis Services, and Power BI
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Certification in DP-203: Data Engineering on Microsoft Azure or equivalent
Desirable Qualifications
- Familiarity with Azure administration tasks, such as managing subscriptions, resources, policies, and security.
- Certification in AZ-500: Microsoft Azure Security Technologies or AZ-104: Microsoft Azure Administrator
