Would you like to deliver accurate master data, while keeping correct process and data structures in a value chain where every dot and number counts?


Core Responsibilities

Joining the Master Data Team in the “Global Operations & Planning Excellence” department you and the team will provide data support to the Supply Chain and Planning within LEGO Operations.

Complete core operational Master Data tasks in our ERP System (SAP) and secure right data within right time with assignments like


  • Create and maintain master data for planning of production capacity
  • Bill of Material and Routing creation and maintenance
  • Complete master data according to milestones in the development process through the established material maturing workflow
  • Support Planning department with master data updates for optimized capacity planning
  • Complete reports for data-validation to enable data governance and quality
  • Collaborate with Planning/Production sites and Product Development
  • Participate in tasks related to new initiatives and developments of products which impacts the data structure
  • Innovate the way we work together with your team and master data specialists!

Data quality is our top priority as our Master Data is essential for the full Supply Chain, Planning Operations etc. With global standards we focus on process consistency related to Master Data to keep up high data standards as a prerequisite for stable planning processes.

We are the interface between marketing novelty projects and planning/manufacturing with a central role in the organization to provide the foundation for Supply Chain Planning.

Being a part of the team, you will have a deep understanding of the product lifecycle process from development release to production and phase out.

Multi-functional collaboration is essential to the team to understand needed deliveries, hence the role provides a high amount of networking opportunities between different departments globally.

Do you have what it takes?

Educational background could be production engineer, master’s in supply chain management or similar. However education is secondary to the right person and experience!


  • Experience with Microsoft Office programmes especially Excel is a requirement. End user experience with SAP ERP system is a strong value for the job
  • A good understanding of master data, supply chain, quality, production planning etc. is advantageous
  • Attention to details with a structured and systematic way of working
  • Being a great teammate with collaborative demeanor and a global approach allows you to collaborate across cultures.
  • You can see the end2end perspective and you continuously focus on growing your functional expertise - Takes initiative, recognizes, and acts on opportunities.
