Data Analyst

So what’s the role & who is it working for? Spectrum Search are currently working with a global professional services business, who are looking for an Data Analyst to join a dynamic team. Where is it & why are they looking for a Data Analyst? The role is based in either Central London, Chelmsford or Manchester where you will need to go into the office 2/3 times a week. They are looking for someone to join their Projects team to support the implementation of the Data Strategy. What will you be doing? You will collaborate with fellow team members to actively contribute to the execution of the Data Strategy. As a member of the Data Function, which is a diverse core team complemented by data specialists from various departments within the company, this role will primarily involve engaging in diverse projects. These projects encompass tasks such as charting the data-related undertakings throughout the organization and assisting in the identification of optimal procedures and frameworks for data collection. What experience are we looking for? 1+ years of hands-on experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst. Proficient in data mapping techniques. Skilled in creating compelling Power BI Dashboards. Demonstrated expertise in SQL. Profound proficiency in Advanced Excel functions. Familiarity with data models and their applications. Previous involvement in data or reporting teams, serving as an analyst, modeler, or data steward. Proven track record of creating and utilizing data models and data definitions. Experience in enhancing data quality and identifying data discrepancies. Capable of identifying business-critical data processes. Solutions-focused mindset, seeking innovative approaches to challenges. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration. Collaborate across departments to contribute to data-driven strategies and initiatives. Collaborate with stakeholders to pinpoint opportunities for enhanced data capture and interpretation. Work closely with business and technology stakeholders to pinpoint Critical Data Elements (CDEs). Exhibit strong analytical skills, enabling insightful data-driven decision-making.
