General Summary

The Data Analyst, Revenue Growth Management supporting the sales strategy team will utilize their excellent data capabilities and business acumen to generate insights and support trade promotion and pricing initiatives. This role will own the technical components of the customer investment program (CIP), a yearly process for allocating AOP targets to customer teams. This process involves joining data from multiple sources through an Alteryx workflow with Tableau and Power BI reporting. In addition, the role will provide ad hoc support as required for IRI and trade promotion data sources for the RGM team as well as developing and maintaining critical analytical tools in Power BI and Tableau to support the RGM and sales teams. Finally, the role will have customer responsibilities supporting some regional teams with forecast accuracy and trade promotion effectiveness. The Data Engineer will play a vital role in establishing a best-in-class revenue growth management capability at the Campbell Soup Company to drive growth for our iconic Snacks brands.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage updates to model for customer investment program (CIP) for annual AOP trade allocation
  • Own and maintain RGM analytical tools across a variety of databases and platforms, including Power BI and Tableau
  • Maintain data sources, Alteryx workflow and reporting workbooks
  • Analyze datasets for consistent trends across customers and categories based on sales business questions
  • Utilize external consumption data from IRI and internal financial data to answer ad hoc questions on promotional activity, pricing trends and upcoming events
  • Build and maintain relationships with regional customer teams to support in RGM topics such as forecast accuracy, ROI and post event analysis
  • Develop RGM reports and scorecards as needed; ability to query and synthesize large datasets; present complex trade and pricing dynamics through clear and concise visualization
  • Collaborate with peers across sales and sales strategy in the RGM Trade Optimization, Pricing Strategy, and Customer Strategy teams to develop consistent, disciplined processes and best-in-class capabilities
Minimum Experience Required
  • BA/ BS in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics or equivalent
  • 3-6 years of relevant experience
  • 2+ years of data and analytics experience (required)
  • 2+ years of CPG experience; Sales, Finance or Marketing
  • Proven analytic and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced skills in data and analytics tools such as Excel (required), Alteryx (strongly preferred), Tableau, Power BI, Microsoft SQL Stack
  • Strong business acumen and ability to work across functions, disciplines, and levels
  • Understanding of trade promotion management and syndicated consumption data metrics from IRI/ Nielsen (preferred)
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams in parallel and effectively prioritize
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team
  • Demonstrated initiative to take on responsibility and drive improvement

Compensation And Benefits

The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between

$72,900-$117,300

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
