Data Scientist

VF Corporation is looking for an exceptional Data Scientist to join our Data Science team based in Stabio, Switzerland.

As member of our Data Science team, you will be running advanced analytics and data science models to help our Global Data Science team to deliver exceptional results to all the functions and brands of VF. You will provide useful inputs which will be used to drive the tactical and strategic decision of the whole Company.







We expect that you will deliver unbeatable results whilst fulfilling the following aspects of the Data Scientist role:

• 
  
  Develop predicting models in the area of DTC marketing
  
  
• 
  
  Develop models in the area of supply and demand chain
  
  
• 
  
  Monitor and maintain the already deployed models to ensure that the performances remain outstanding
  
  
• 
  
  Present the results to our internal stakeholders
  
  
• 
  
  Have a continuous dialogue with Data Engineers and DevOps to drive new development in the area of Data and models productionalization.
  
  
  
  

Skills for Success



A successful Data Scientist will be able to bring his contribution in the whole Data Science models development chain.



Starting from capturing the right request from the business stakeholders, talking with Data Engineers to retrieve the right data, developing the model with an high level of independency and presenting the results to Data Science management team and to stakeholders.



We are looking for someone who owns:

• 
  
  A broad knowledge of ML and Data Science models (clustering, classification, regression time series, etc.)
  
  
• 
  
  High proficiency in developing in Python, with a consolidated knowledge of all the most important libraries in the field (scikit, pandas, keras, prophet, etc.). Deep knowledge of SQL. Other languages will be evaluated as a plus
  
  
• 
  
  Knowledge of the AWS environment Is a plus (Sagemaker, Redshift, etc.)
  
  
• 
  
  Ability to rapidly react to changes and adapt to it
  
  
• 
  
  Capacity to find a self-organization of his own tasks in order to meet the deadlines
  
  
• 
  
  Fluency in English
  
  
• 
  
  Positive and proactive teamwork attitude
  
  
• 
  
  Good communication skills, verbal and written. Experience in presenting project proposals and results (knowledge of Tableau is a plus)
  
  
• 
  
  Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the same role
