As a Junior Data Scientist, you will be an integral part of our mission by applying your analytical and statistical expertise to unlock valuable insights from data. Your role will involve collaborating with clients to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities that will drive data-informed decision-making, foster innovation, enhance productivity, and enable our clients to achieve their business goals through data-driven strategies. Your work as a Junior Data Scientist will be at the forefront of driving positive change and ensuring our clients' success in an increasingly data-centric world.


As a data scientist, the results we expect you to contribute are as follows:

  • Analyze large datasets to identify actionable insights that drive business growth and innovation for our clients.
  • Contribute to the creation of machine learning models that enhance customer segmentation and personalization strategies, resulting in increased customer engagement and conversion rates.
  • Collaborate on testing and experimentation projects that optimize marketing campaigns and product offerings, ultimately increasing client ROI.
  • Assist in the development of recommendation engines that improve user experiences and drive higher retention rates for our clients' digital products or services.
  • Conduct statistical analyses that uncover hidden trends and patterns within data, supporting our clients in making informed strategic decisions.
  • Work on natural language processing projects that extract meaningful insights from unstructured text data, leading to improved sentiment analysis and customer feedback processing
  • Contribute to the development of data-driven reports and insights that provide actionable recommendations to clients, enabling them to address specific business challenges.


Education & Experience 
  • Completed or ongoing Master's degree in Data Science & Engineering, Mathematical Engineering or equivalent practical experience


Hard Skills (essential)
  • Good programming skills: you must have a good knowledge of at least one programming language, preferably Python. 
  • Good knowledge of the SQL language 
  • Solid understanding of statistical principles. This includes knowledge of concepts such as correlation, distributions, hypothesis testing and regression.
  • Machine learning skills. This includes knowledge of algorithms such as linear regression, logistic regression, decision trees, support vector machines, clustering, etc.
  • Data analysis. A junior data scientist should be able to work with large amounts of data, perform exploratory data analysis, and apply data wrangling techniques to prepare data for analysis. This may include data cleaning, preprocessing, handling null or incomplete data, outliers, and extracting relevant features.

Skills (desirable)
  • Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform, especially BigQuery, Cloud Function, Cloud Scheduler, tools needed to set up an automated model.
  • Ability to communicate data analysis results through effective visualization. Ability to use visualization libraries such as Matplotlib or Plotly and automated reporting tools such as Looker Studio to create graphs and visualizations that clearly convey information to non-technical audiences.
