The Data Engineer will help Bandwidth establish and mature its cloud data warehouse. Much of their focus will be on ingestion of operational data from various SaaS providers ranging from Salesforce to Netsuite to Zendesk to Pendo. At the same time, they will be tasked with warehouse design to serve various warehouse tenants ranging from analysts to visualization layers. They will partner with Bandwidth's Data Services team to support a longitudinal view of Bandwidth's customers in Snowflake.

What You'll Do:
Build and maintain ETL pipelines from various SaaS applications to cloud data warehouse
Maintain cloud warehouse infrastructure to support multi-tenant consumers of network and operational data
Document ETL pipelines, infrastructure, and field level detail where needed for operational data flows
Assist in administration of system and user access to cloud data warehouse
Assist in administration of internal visualization tools
Partner with data stakeholders to maintain data flows and address end-user data needs

What You Need:
Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or quantitative discipline (Physics, Math, Biostatistics, etc) with strong experience cleansing and structuring data

1+ years of data engineering experience

Experience building cloud data warehouse infrastructure, ideally in Snowflake

Experience building ETL pipelines in open source tools using Python (i.e. Airflow, Prefect, Dagster)

A history of successfully manipulating, processing, and extracting value from large disconnected datasets.

Proficiency with SQL and Python
