About the Role
As our Data Analyst you will be a vital practitioner in Umain driving the ongoing optimisation of customer experience by employing quantitative analytics across areas including product analytics, AB testing, customer segmentation, personalisation, marketing automation and business intelligence. The objective is to establish & maintain scalable processes that ensure best practices in product, user, marketing, business & transactions data. In summary, you will help Umain to build world-class digital products.
Responsibilities
Work closely with internal teams, plus with external client Marketing, Sales or Product teams, analysing user data and product data
Extract, prepare and analyse large datasets to derive trends and insights
Aggregate disparate data sources to produce KPI-driven dashboards that facilitate fact-based, commercial decisions
Create customer / user segments to optimise user digital experiences
Help drive the analysis of conversion rates across our digital assets
Segment large datasets to find compelling and relevant product insights & recommendations
Build and maintain business intelligence dashboards for reporting purposes and to drive improved commercial performance
Help to establish & maintain scalable processes that ensure best practices in extracting, storing and blending product, user, marketing, business & transactions data
Input to a data-informed product strategy, sharing your know-how

Skills and Experience
Passionate about deriving customer/user insights and making decisions based on analysis
Minimum two years’ experience in a similar role for a digital consultancy or high volume transactional business
A degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g. science, computer science, statistics, economics, mathematics, engineering or similar)
Excellent quantitative analytical skills, with the ability to explore large datasets and summarise key insights from analysing same
Knowledge of Digital Marketing including analytical methods & metrics within areas such as customer acquisition, retention, churn-prevention, loyalty and segmentation
Expertise in executing and measuring performance of A/B and multivariate tests
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present analysis/insights
Solid commercial and analytical skills, plus high attention to detail
Self-starter, highly organized, taking ownership & accountability over own deliverables
Team player, able to work well with individuals at all levels
Has a valid work permit and residence permit for Sweden

Technical skills & experience:
You should have (i.e. required);
Excellent SQL skills, with experience of extracting, manipulating & querying large datasets
Data visualization/dashboarding tools experience e.g. Tableau, Qlik, PowerBI or similar
Excellent knowledge of data visualisation best practices, telling stories using data viz tools
Knowledge of advanced analytics and predictive modelling analysis techniques
Experience working with statistical software packages
Advanced working knowledge of MS Excel
Experience working with big data technologies e.g. Google BigQuery, Google Cloud Platform technologies (various)
Knowledge of managing ETL scripts and data pipelines
Data extraction / manipulation via other programming languages e.g. R, Python

You might also have (i.e. advantageous);
Knowledge of applying AI/ML models on large datasets
Knowledge of marketing automation
Knowledge of web/app speed/performance technical analysis tools
Knowledge of web/app analytics tools & data
Knowledge of A/B testing & personalisation tools
