LIFE AS A THALES DATA ANALYST/ENGINEER

As a Data Analyst/Engineer within Thales, you will:

 Gather business requirements, specify the dashboards/reports

 Design data acquisition and align architecture with specifications and THALES data framework

 Develop, construct, test, deploy to production and support your dashboards/reports

 Write and Maintain technical design documentation related to your dashboards/reports: user, administrator and maintenance guide

 Provide handover, training to stakeholders

 Use programming language and tools

 Identify ways to improve data reliability, efficiency and quality

 Automate data collection, transformation and dashboards generation

 Monitor data dashboards availability and consistency

 Maintain architectures and continuous improvement.

COMPETENCIES: KNOWLEDGE AND TECHNICAL SKILLS

 Strong knowledge in Power BI Desktop and Publish services

 Strong knowledge in Power Query, DAX, PowerAutomate

 Knowledge in Database, BI Intelligence

 Solid development experience in programming languages, linked to Business Intelligence (Python, …)

 Good experience on Software Development Life cycle models.

 Able to present results: dashboard creation, data visualization

 Able to explore, use and enhance data, whatever its type (structured or unstructured data) and its source (internal, external, web, connected objects, etc.) Nice to Have:

 Familiarity with Agile concepts and tools.

 Understanding of the business issues involving data processing

 A Master of Engineering, Computer Science, or any other relevant field in University, and you have significant experience in Data Analysis

 At least 5+ years of experience as a Data engineer or Software developer.
