As a data engineer you support technical projects and bring advanced data solutions to life. Your role is crucial in shaping and implementing the technical architecture, designing innovative systems, and implementing solutions that manage and analyze data optimally. And when necessary, you step in to solve high-urgency issues.

In the domain of FEC Tech, you will get the opportunity to contribute and work with the newest developments in the market and thus develop your knowledge and skills to the maximum extent possible.

You and your role

• Working on the key topic for our bank; Financial Economic Crime;
• Working in a DevOps end to end squad that is responsible from request to maintenance;
• Designing and developing new solutions in the Microsoft Azure stack, such as Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Azure DevOps deployment pipelines, Synapse Analytics, Azure Analysis Services, Power BI, etc.
• Working together on new innovative solutions for complex business needs.
  
  

You and your talent

…innovation, coaching, impact, communication skills, and vision are essential for the role of data Engineer. In addition, you must recognise yourself in the checklist below:

• You have studied IT, technology or similar;
• You have 5 or more years of development experience;
• Strong data analytics skills and experience with Databricks using Pyspark and python;
• Strong expertise in designing and implementing ETL/ ELT processes using tools like Azure Data Factory;
• Monitoring and optimization capability for the performance of data pipeline;
• Experience with version control tools like Git and DevOps practices for CI/CD of data solutions;
• Experience with scheduling and orchestration tools like Airflow;
• Knowledge of relational databases (PostgresSQL/MSSQL/Oracle);
• Strong communication skills (English) to work within the team and other functional teams;
• Knowledge of API design is a plus;
• Knowledge of IaC (Infrastructure as Code with Terraform) is a plus.
  
  

🚨 To be considered for this position, you must be located in the Netherlands or elsewhere in the EU and have the legal right to work in the Netherlands. We are unable to consider candidates requiring relocation from another country.

This Is What We Offer You

• a gross monthly salary of up to : € 6.800,- (based on a 40-hour work contract & skills, experience and knowledge)
• 13th month and holiday pay: the holiday allowance and annual allowance will usually be paid out in 12 equal monthly installments. Employees have the option once a year to opt for the holiday allowance to be paid out in May and the annual allowance in December.
• an Employee Benefit Budget (10% of your monthly salary). You decide how to spend this budget. This may include purchasing extra leave days, making extra pension contributions, or even receiving a monthly cash payout.
• an annual personal development/training budget of € 1.400,-
• 100% reimbursement of commuting costs if you travel by public transport! Do you still prefer to travel by car or motorbike? Then choose a commuting allowance.
• a monthly € 40,- net work-from-home allowance, based on working from home 5 days per week.
• a monthly € 40,- net internet allowance.
• an attractive pension fund with a personal contribution of only 5.5%. Rabobank will contribute 21.5%.
