We are currently recruiting for a Customer Data Analyst to join our expanding Data team within AXA Ireland, we are looking for an experienced Customer Data Analyst to provide data analytics support and solutions within AXA.

Reporting to Customer Data & Loyalty Manager, as the Customer Data Analyst your role would be to analyse data and generate insights and value for the business on a wide range of topics such as Customer, Marketing, Digital, Loyalty, Claims and Fraud.

  • Support delivery of Data Analytics projects for other departments of AXA
  • Understand the needs and requirements of internal customers
  • Analyse large datasets and recommend potential business uses
  • Provide ad-hoc analyses and helps with the interpretation of data
  • Build and deliver analytics solutions
  • Apply advanced data mining techniques and present analysis to audiences with varying technical knowledge
  • Act as the medium between the business and technology teams
  • Deliver excellent customer service
  • Maintain technical documentation and data controls checks
  • Manage your own time and resources effectively
  • Maintain flexibility within the role to undertake other duties as assigned by management and participate in any designated projects
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a data analytics or business intelligence role.
  • Minimum of a primary degree with curriculum in the following areas : Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science.
  • Proven ability to apply analytics techniques such as data mining, data transformations and cleansing, data visualisations.
  • Experience programming in R, Python, SQL or SAS would be desirable
  • Excellent written and numerical skills
  • Strong statistical background and proficiency in programming using large datasets
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word and Powerpoint
  • Previous experience in an insurance or financial services company
