The RevOps Data Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing a modern data warehouse, connecting all of our SaaS applications to the warehouse with a modern ingest platform/toolset, and making our data actionable for analysis, predictive modeling, reporting and automation requirements of the RevOps team. RevOps is the at the center of the growth engine for Itential, and data is at the center of RevOps.

About You

We are looking for someone who is execution oriented, brings experience to the table but (more importantly) learns quickly. You need to be technical, capable of making decisions and solving problems, and unafraid of failure. You need to be a strong communicator and collaborator. We are building a very close knit, high functioning RevOps team in a close knit, high functioning SaaS company.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Lead the implementation of a modern data platform / data warehouse that will be the foundation for hardcore RevOps analysis and automation (Fivetran + Snowflake/BigQuery + DBT)
  • Build an enterprise data model from scratch; collaborate with all operational groups and application/data source owners.
  • Enable the RevOps team to do research, reporting and advanced analytics on Itential's corporate data
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts to support the building of dashboards and outputs for management stakeholders to use
    • Directly build end-user BI dashboards or other outputs
    • Teach others to build dashboards and support the data modeling necessary
  • Maintain the data warehouse & BI tool ecosystem
  • Implement a data governance scheme

Minimum Required Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent
  • The demonstrated ability to implement and manage an enterprise data warehouse, including the software layer, a governance model, and technical best practices
  • Very strong data modeling capabilities & technical skills
  • Experience working with unmanaged data (JSON documents, log file data, images, etc.) is preferred
  • Know SQL & Python, and IDEs/tools typically associated with data management and analytics
  • Ability to communicate effectively to multiple levels of technical expertise

Candidates in the Atlanta metro area are preferred. Remote applicants within the US will be considered. Atlanta office has not reopened, and local candidates will not be required to come into the office immediately.
