Brief Call: Our process typically begins with a brief virtual/phone conversation to get to know you! The objective? Learn about you, understand your motivations, and make sure we have the right job for you!

Interviews (the average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Of course, you will also get to know Amaris: our culture, our roots, our teams, and your career opportunities!

Case study: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.

Job Description

Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with senior data scientists and cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and objectives.
  • Collect, clean, and preprocess data from various sources to prepare it for analysis.
  • Develop and implement machine learning models and algorithms to extract insights from data.
  • Perform exploratory data analysis and generate reports to communicate findings.
  • Utilize programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis, visualization, and scripting.
  • Assist in the deployment and monitoring of data science solutions.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data science and machine learning.


Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Strong foundation in statistical analysis and machine learning techniques.
  • Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis and machine learning.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn, Tableau).
  • Basic understanding of SQL and database management.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Knowledge of big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
