AI Engineer

Responsibilities

China Unicom (Hong Kong) Operations Ltd is a member of China Unicom that provides telecommunication services in Hong Kong. To cope with our development, we would like to invite high caliber candidates to apply for the following position:

• Responsible for the R&D management of international communication network intelligentization and digitalization, including requirement collection and analysis, system architecture design, feature and function roadmap planning, software development, testing and acceptance.
• Responsible for the application of AI technology (including generative AI) in communication network, and applying AI in real and production scenarios.
• Responsible for the data governance and analysis generated from communication network and other data resources, and applying open source data analysis tools and frameworks to provide data analysis capability for network operations.
• Responsible for the operation, maintenance and optimization of the system.
  
  

Qualifications Required

• Bachelor degree or above in communication, information engineering, computer science, artificial intelligence, mathematics or related fields.
• More than 5 years working experience and over 3 years experience in R&D and project management.
• Familiar with IT project management and IT system implementation process, project organization and implementation.
• Familiar with open source data analysis, visualization framework, and database technology.
• Knowledge in theoretical foundations and development process of artificial intelligence technologies such as time-series analysis, NLP, and LLM, RAG.
• Familiar with AI training frameworks and language, such as CUDA, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Python and able to establish AI training platform.
• Experienced in independently applying AI technologies including generative AI in real scenarios, including model development, training, fine-tuning, performance evaluation and optimization.
• Good communication skills in both Chinese and English.
• Able to coordinate and communicate effectively with other teams.
