KNOW THE ROLE

The HR Data Analyst will deliver best in class data and dashboards to Brown Thomas Arnotts stakeholders. The role will provide support to key stakeholders across the business through use of best in class HRIS tools and data analysis, to implement a new HR reporting system in Tableau, develop a comprehensive suite of HR data analytics and to support with key HR and HRIS projects.


Responsible for Operational HR and Reward Reporting

  • Work with the HRIS team to implement Tableau to replace our current reporting tool
  • Support with running standard & ad-hoc reports as requested. Assist the People Team leaders with data requests and ongoing strategic documentation from Selfridges Group and BTA Executive team
  • Troubleshoot data queries (resulting from reports)
  • Identify data gaps, data errors and take immediate action to resolve and update
  • Consult, propose and implement changes to source processes to maintain clean data
  • Maintain a standards reporting log for BTA and ensure appropriate measures are taken to safe guard data. Manage the user access for Tableau, ensuring the relevant access is applied or removed when deemed necessary


Develop and Launch HR Data Analytics

  • Design best in class leading HR analytics from multiple data sources
  • Create dashboards to display data in a way that brings a clear level of understanding to all relevant stakeholders HR, Exec and Management
  • Work with our HR Business Partnering team to embed a data driven, insight led mindsight across the organisation
  • Bring external insights from research and networking to constantly refine the data analytics offering
  • Support all HRIS project work
  • Manage the relationship with IT and any third party vendor supporting HR data analysis


KNOW WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Experience in using data analysis tools, ideally Tableau
  • Experience working in a HR data analyst role
  • Excellent working knowledge of HRIS tools such as Core/Access HR
  • A third level qualification in Human Resources and/or Data Analytics
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Pragmatic with sound common sense
  • A strong working knowledge of HR best practice policies and procedures
