This position can be filled in Bremen, Aurich, Mainz, Leipzig, Magdeburg, Osnabrück, Kiel, Rostock, Soest and Barneveld (Netherlands) and also on part-time basis.
Your tasks
- Develop and analyze multiple data sources in the wind industry – from operational data of wind farms, over simulation and a digital twin data toward wind atlas data
- Preprocess data, including quality checks and imputation
- Build, maintain and test ETL pipelines that enable automated access through RestAPI and Docker
- Provide high-quality data to and collaborate closely with data scientists for machine learning models
- Develop data visualizations / dashboards for data monitoring
- Support end-to-end development of data products from idea creation towards supervision after productive implementation
- Lead R&D projects in the context of data management
Your qualifications
- Bachelor or Master Degree in IT, natural sciences, engineering or comparable
- High competencies in data exploration and analysis
- Good programming skills in python, Java, C/C# or Scala
- Strong data related expertise in MS Azure, SQL, Kafka, Apache Hive or Talend preferred
- Good experience with Docker, DevOps and CI/CD pipelines desirable
- Good knowledge on ML skills, e.g. TensorFlow, Spark or PyTorch, desirable
- Knowledge of PowerBi or Tableau is a plus
