We are seeking a passionate Financial Data Analyst to join our growing team and take the lead in analyzing data, uncovering insights, and shaping the future of our products. As a Data Analyst, you will have the exciting opportunity to dive into our user data, build engaging dashboards, and provide compelling stories that drive decision-making. This position is fully remote within the U.S. and offers a 6-month contract with a competitive pay range of $40 to $52 per hour.
Responsibilities
Foster a constant curiosity and conduct in-depth explorations of our extensive datasets.
Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Engineers to identify new business opportunities and gain a deeper understanding of our key success factors.
Provide support for new product launches, A/B testing, ramp-up recommendations, and root cause investigations.
Utilize innovative techniques to investigate our data and incorporate external information, enhancing our market knowledge.
Effectively communicate complex data findings to diverse teams in a clear and concise manner.
Engage with stakeholders across various departments such as product, marketing, and finance to drive initiatives that improve our company-level KPIs and align with our business priorities.
Perform ad-hoc analyses to address urgent and high-impact business needs.
Requirements
Possess 3+ years of industry experience in quantitative analyses, driving data-driven solutions to business problems.
Demonstrate familiarity with Product Analytics, including tracking customer behavior, adoption rates, churn, cohorts, and funnel analysis.
Experience collaborating with and understanding the needs of stakeholders from different business functions, such as product, marketing, and finance.
Proficiency in SQL, Python, and/or other data query languages.
Strong experience in efficiently handling large-scale data.
Hold a Bachelor's degree in a field that requires logical and creative thinking; MS degree in STEM majors preferred.
Proven track record of strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Previous involvement in developing the back-end management of Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau, Looker, Mode, or Periscope.
Prior experience in Financial Services or FinTech is highly desirable.
Background in evaluating product iterations or experiments would be advantageous.
