Machine Learning Engineering Manager - London/Hybrid - up to £150k DOE

A cybersecurity company are seeking a talented Machine Learning Engineering Manager to join their innovative Cloud Security team, where they're pioneering next-gen protection for cloud services.

About The Role

You'll lead a team of 5-10 engineers (across various disciplines, including machine learning and full-stack) working on a crucial product for our future growth. You'll drive the team towards success by building and scaling an enterprise-grade solution, while mentoring and expanding the team over time. If you're an experienced leader with a passion for nurturing talent and driving delivery in a fast-paced environment, this is a great opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a multi-disciplinary team across different time zones.
• Recruit, develop, and mentor a highly-skilled engineering team.
• Guide the team to deliver a B2B product with ambitious targets.
• Work closely with stakeholders to ensure product alignment and progress.
  
  

Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience managing engineering teams for complex, technical products.
• Recruitment experience of engineers
• Skilled in coaching and developing engineers, especially in backend and machine learning.
• Experience navigating and succeeding in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.
• Interest in building not just products, but careers-mentoring future leaders.
• Experience in cloud infrastructure (AWS, Kafka, microservices, etc.).
• Prior exposure to building B2B or enterprise-focused products.
