Job description

Requires in-depth conceptual and practical technical knowledge in the discipline of data science. Works independently with minimal guidance. Understands key business drivers and builds knowledge of the company, processes and customers. Makes contributions to provide machine driven recommendations to augment human expertise in process. Uses complex mathematical models and algorithms to predict business performance, find predictors, and understand the significance of trends through the use of very advanced predictive analytics and statistical methods. Contributes to the development of advanced predictive models and machine learning models using current technology and other available tools. Performs a range of technical assignments and solves moderately complex problems under guidance of established policies and procedure. Contributes to delivery of team goals through personal efforts or through influence over team members.
Experience: 6 to 8 years
Data Engineer will be responsible for:
  • You will be part of a team that is responsible for our new software generation in the cloud.
  • You will be providing recommendations about the methods and ways in which our company obtains and analyses data to improve quality and the efficiency of data systems
  • Your responsibilities also include developing and implementing data analysis, data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
  • Acquiring data from primary or secondary data sources.
  • Provide expertise in data wrangling, exploratory data analysis on large data sets.
  • You will be responsible for interpreting data, analysing results using statistical techniques.
  • Developing proofs of concepts to demonstrate the application of AI/ML capabilities in solving customer problems in collaboration with data scientists, product and other development teams.
  • You work in an agile team with agile methods.
Requirements
  • You have successfully completed a degree in computer science, mathematics or a degree with a quantitative focus (e.g. mathematics, statistics, physics, computer science) and at least 5+ years of production experience in designing, building data pipelines to ingest large volume of data for multiple used cases related to data science and data analysis.
  • Work with the product teams to evaluate business needs and priorities, liaise with key business partners and address team needs related to data systems and management.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications or documents as per project guidelines, establish and define details, definitions, and requirements of applications, components and enhancements.
  • Participate in project planning; identifying milestones, deliverables and resource requirements;
  • Build large-scale batch and real-time data pipelines as per requirements with data processing frameworks in Azure/AWS cloud platform.
  • Develop data pipelines / APIs using Python, Azure/AWS Cloud methods for AI/ML algorithms.
  • Experience in handling unstructured and structured complex data. Experience in NLP.
  • Ability to write complex SQLs. Dedicated team player with a high sense of responsibility and interest in complex business management issues
  • Motivated self-starter with a strong enthusiasm to learn. Strong communication skills.
  • An analytical mind and inclination for problem-solving, attention to detail.
