This is a Recruitment Pool for Fixed Term Full Time and Fixed Term Part Time appointments. Several positions are available of between six (6) to twelve (12) months in duration, with possibility of extension(s).

Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur. Appointments may be made from this pool until February 2023.

Position Profile: We are seeking applications from enthusiastic individuals for the position of Data Engineer. In this position, you will work across a range of existing Oracle and/or SQL Server based systems to support our business, as well as learn and use new technologies such as Snowflake and Airflow to help our team implement exciting new enterprise data warehouse and system solutions.

The role is responsible for building, maintaining, enhancing and automating data pipelines and structures across the entire data lifecycle, within complex information systems and data warehouse environments. The person will be able to understand technical and business requirements and interpret these into working technical solutions to improve data lineage, transparency, availability and automation.

The successful candidate is passionate about data and how existing and emerging technologies can be better used to support and improve existing systems as well as help implement new innovative data solutions. Previous experience working in SQL Server and/or Oracle based environments in a complex multi-disciplinary business environment is well regarded.
