How to contribute to our vision

For our System Integration team within the SW Solutions Department we are looking for a SW Data Scientist for a newly established, and dedicated team to create metrics, visualizations and KPI’s for our SW development.

In the System Integration team, we fulfill the role of a Solution level System Team following the SAFe/SCRUM framework. This means that we are responsible for; the SW test strategy, the enforcement of it, and the creation and maintenance of our CI build- and test environments in which automated tests are executed. We are responsible for the definition, implementation and operation of all Solution level tests.

The introduction of Metrics is a strategic goal of the department; our team has been given the responsibility of introducing it.

As SW Data Scientist, you will be a key developer in a newly established small team working with metrics and data analytics. You will be part of working in a new metrics framework where we from system team will help the development teams creating insight into the CI/CD environment.

You will work with the complete chain from collecting the data from various tools, data processing and analytics until presenting them in the way we have agreed with our stakeholders. Together with the team you find the state-of-the-art SW tools and make the decision proposals. You implement these tools and carry out introduction and training, allowing development projects to move faster.

What you need to make a difference

Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are looking for you, who wants to make real what matters and who wants to change the world to renewable energy.

The ideal candidate holds an academic degree in IT, Computer Science or similar in combination with thorough practical experience with

  • Transforming data into SW metrics and KPI’s
  • Continuous Delivery methodology and the tools needed
  • Data Analysis and presentation/visualization
  • Converting process and user inputs into concrete metrics for our users
  • You want to take the lead in building insights in our development pipelines
  • Agile software development practices (e.g. SAFe/SCRUM)

Most importantly, you challenge yourself and your colleagues to achieve the best results. You have a high professional competency and you have a desire to develop your skills. You have good collaboration skills and you can manage to act in different cultural contexts. To thrive in this position, you must have a strong result- and customer-oriented approach.
