Within the European Manufacturing IT Delivery Center, and part of the “Industrial Solutions” team, the Industrial Data Engineer-Team Lead will join a growing team and take part to the transformation of our European plants.
As an Industrial Data Engineer-Team Lead , you will play a key role in terms of development and deployment of a data integration chain between different information system applications or assets.
You will focus on the infrastructure and architecture used in data generation and storage, being the bridge between different actors; data analysts or data scientists.
You will assume the responsibility of the full data workflow by ensuring that deployed architecture supports business requirements.
You will manage a team of several industrial data engineers (intern & extern).
You will develop, construct, test and maintain data architecture (data base, large scale processing system).
Moreover, you will recommend ways to improve data reliability, efficiency and quality.
Computer Science, Computer Engineering (Master Degree preferred)
Prior experience as an industrial data engineer or in a similar role.
Good experience in project management
Experience in programming language (Python, Java, C/C#) with hands-on Gitlab and Docker
OPC server: Kepware is a plus
Historian database: PI Systems, InfluxDB are a plus
MQTT protocol: knowledge
Technical experience with data models, with strong knowledge of data warehouse background (SQL, AWS Redshift, Snowflake, Oracle
Accurate experience with cloud computing technology (mainly AWS – lambda , glue ,s3).
Knowledge about ETL tools or data preparation solutions is a real plus.
Good understanding and practical use of streaming platform ( Kafka , Firehose).
Tableau basic experience is welcome.
