How will I help?
As a Data Scientist on the Payroll Review Program, you will be responsible for setting up the employee data ecosystems including the analytics platform, be responsible for the design and implementation of advanced data science solutions that deliver the expected business outcomes.
You will be working with large and complex employee data sets and have expertise in SQL language to analyse big data sets and enable insights driven decision making.
As a senior member of the remediation analytics team, you will be engaging with multiple stakeholders across HR Payroll Operations, Technology , Service delivery teams and external consultants to deliver measurable solutions.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Setting up the discovery of the issue, perform detailed analysis on data stored in relational and non-relational data bases.
- Create and execute SQL queries to manipulate and dissect large scale employee data sets, apply data management techniques to normalise data schemas and build data structures for aggregating employee payment outcomes
- You will drive accurate data analysis, validate findings, and provide verified outcomes that will lead to successful rectification of various vulnerable issues identified by the business
- You will be responsible for identifying opportunities for continuous improvement, develop solutions and drive implementation including measures to improve performance.

What do I need?
You will have data scientist experience ideally within the financial services industry across large scale and complex remediation programs. You will have excellent documentation skills, with the ability to convey complex material as clearly as possible with a view to propose alternate solutions and provide recommendations. You will have SQL expert knowledge, and be able to execute SQL queries to manipulate and dissect large scale employee data sets, apply data management techniques to normalise data schemas and build data structures for aggregating employee payment outcomes. Experience with Tableau or other similar data visualisation tools is essential.
You will have an agile mindset, adaptable to change and focused on delivery of business outcomes. You will have strong stakeholder engagement skills and ability to work with people at different levels in the organisation.
