Job Description
Work on advanced analytical initiatives through data analysis, and insights to enable informed business decisions in LTL and international freight. Work with cross functional teams to examine structured and unstructured data to provide insights and develop high-quality solutions. Effectively shares best practices and fosters knowledge sharing across teams. Communicates effectively with global stakeholders, provides data-driven insights and recommendations on complex problem statements.
What Your Main Responsibilities Are
- Work cross-functionally to answer business questions by using appropriate statistical techniques on available data to improve key success metrics for LTL and freight business
- Build expertise while working on projects, work in a team to develop insights to strategize freight growth
- Partner with team to create presentations with strong storytelling capability to drive insights out of data
- Research and explore freight business trends impacting customer experience, operations, revenue. Work in a team to develop relevant recommendations to aid decision making
- Take ownership of problem statement, work actively with seniors team members to design solution delivery
- Import, clean, transform, validate data from RDBMS (Oracle, Teradata) with the purpose of understanding or making conclusions from the data for decision making.

Qualifications & Specifications
- Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, or a quantitative discipline such as mathematics, engineering, operations research, economics & statistics. Masters degree is a plus
- Experience of at least 2 - 4 years of analytics and statistics. Experience in freight industry is a plus
- Experience in product marketing analytics, impact analysis is a plus
- Must have - SQL & SAS/Python experience , with exposure to any visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau , Spotfire), SQL
- Good to have – cloud computing, big data, Azure, NLP, ML
