Early Childhood Outcomes Division
The Early Childhood Outcomes Division leads the delivery of the Early Years Commitment program, including comprehensive investments in the critical first 5 years of life for every child – in child development and in early education and care, making investments that support families and the community now, as well as investing in long term reforms for the future. Key initiatives will include supporting families with young children to access the services they need to support their own prosperity and wellbeing; valuing and growing the early childhood education and care sector and investing in early childhood teachers and educators.

About The Role
The role will support the:
- Development of data led insights to inform policy, program development and decision making
- Development of briefings, correspondence, reports, and presentation material
- Team with carrying out day-to-day tasks and project management

Essential Requirements Of The Role
- Hold a valid clearance to work with children (Working with Children Check)
- Candidates with demonstrated equivalent knowledge and/or experience are recommended to apply
Key knowledge and experience - Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people
Key accountabilities - Undertake research and analysis of complex datasets to provide advice to support policy, program development and decision making.
- Utilise technology to analyse data from multiple sources and prepare clear and concise output documentation detailing interpretation of the data.
- Ensure reports and accompanying analysis are accurately prepared, delivered on time and in compliance with quality standards, to meet operational requirements.
- Assist with the development of briefings, correspondence, reports and presentation material to support the unit meet operational objectives.
- Maintain collaborative and constructive working relationships across the Directorate and with other areas of the Department to enable the effective delivery of outcome objectives
- Participate in the review of operational processes and procedures to identify opportunities to enhance the provision of data analytics in line with the Department’s commitment to continuous improvement
