Your Role

The purpose of the Data Analyst is to support our Data Analytics practice by applying automation & visualisation techniques to make current business processes more intelligent and efficient to our partners within the EMEA Distribution while empowering them to be more data driven & fact based in their decision making.



Our challenge for the Data Analyst will be to bring an infectious passion for data as an enabler & embed that in our teams to achieve commercial results through data informed practices.

Your Team

Invesco EMEA serves a breadth of clients including financial advisors, pension funds, and insurers. Our customers have complex and unique investment needs, which we are uniquely positioned to deliver through 13 investment centres with expertise in equities, fixed income, and alternatives. Marketing seeks to connect client needs with our capabilities by creating effective, accountable, multi-channel communications which educate, inspire, and support our clients. The Analytics & Insights team enables this using research, digital & data analytics & marketing performance measurement to underpin the three pillars of know your clients, understand their journey & optimise performance

You will be responsible for:

  • Supporting our Data Analytics Specialists in delivering solutions
  • Identifying opportunities to streamline existing business processes by automating ad-hoc analyses into stable, repeatable, and performance-ready reports, metrics, and dashboards.
  • Effectively and efficiently merging and consolidating data
  • Identifying anomalies (monitor) and troubleshooting issues with any of our weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports.
  • Producing accurate analysis and visualisations of data
  • Using data visualisation tools & techniques to enable & empower decision making at all levels.
  • Educating and informing people about data literacy and on being a “data savvy” organization.

The skills and experience you’ll bring
You will:

  • Show advanced Excel skills
  • Have been exposed to analysing large quantities and varieties of data
  • Bring intermediate knowledge of a programming language for data analysis likeSQL, Python, SAS
  • Have strong analytical and problem solving skills

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is interested in trends, patterns and puzzles. Someone who enjoys working with the willingness to learn new skills and looking to grow in the data analytics field.
  • Ideally comes with a BS and / or MS in areas such as Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science or similar. Or some solid working experience to showcase
