PRO Unlimited’s NorthStar HCM team is looking for a Data Analyst t to join our team. The individual needs to work well in both an autonomous role and a team setting. We are looking for someone with a desire to learn and enhance their skills, an internal drive to excel, and a very high attention to detail and accuracy. The analyst would be exposed to a variety of different industries that PRO supports including: Financial Services, Technology & Social Media, Healthcare, Big Pharma, Major Consumer Products, Aerospace, Oil & Gas, Retail among others.

The position requires an analytical thinker who is comfortable working with large data sets and has the ability to confirm the accuracy of data across multiple different reports via both automated validation checks along with a manual review given knowledge of the business. The position requires an advanced level of skill with Microsoft Excel and reporting systems in general. The analyst will also be given the opportunity to learn how to update executive-level dynamic dashboards using PRO’s Business Intelligence tool.

Given the executive audience within Fortune 100 Global companies who receive the data deliverables, completeness and accuracy is absolutely critical.


  • Apply critical thinking and advanced Microsoft Excel experience to update key client reporting requirements
  • Identify any variations in large datasets that might indicate an issue with the data or a swing in program activity
  • Communicate clearly and consistently the status of open requests that could include:
    • Requests for ad hoc reports
    • Create new reports
    • Modify existing reports
    • User support within existing BI tools
  • Work with internal customers to deliver on-target, value-added solutions and results to complex, data-centric challenges
  • Identify areas for process improvement and automation that could be applied across contingent labor programs
  • Work independently in detail-oriented environment

Minimum Qualifications

  • BA/BS with concentration or major in Accounting/Finance, Math, HR/Procurement, and/or Economics
  • 2-5+ years work experience in accounting/analytically-focused role
  • Expertise of Data Ownership, Data mining and Data accuracy
  • Proven ability to deliver complex reconciliations and monthly / weekly reports
  • Advanced Excel skills (including expert knowledge in using lookup tables, pivot tables, if statements, etc)
  • Experience in dashboard creation, visual analytics, presentations and/or other business intelligence reporting tools a plus
  • Commitment to internal and external customer service
  • Must be a team player and communicate regularly and respectfully
