Data Engineer (m/f/x)

Puls Technologies GmbH is a fast-growing fintech startup on a mission to revolutionize the financial world for German small to mid-sized enterprises and entrepreneurs. We provide a Treasury management system coupled with instant financing out of our own lending fund for small businesses. Our platform connects all bank accounts in one place, providing an overview of financial history, cash flow forecasting, and an easy and instant payment solution. We aim to free up our clients' time so they can focus on growing their business, not just surviving. At Puls, you'll work directly with the founders and an energetic team dedicated to making a real impact in the German SME community.

Tasks

• Develop the end-to-end automation of data pipelines to make ingestion, transformation, and distribution of data more efficient and self-service for our users
• Manage data architecture regarding data storage, update, cleaning, transformation, and quality checks
• Support in building data models, optimizing and improving data infrastructure performance
• Analyze and normalize data, categorize data, find patterns, work with exceptions, deduplication
• Cohort data analysis
  
  

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or a similar role
• Experience building/operating highly available, distributed systems of data extraction, ingestion, and processing of data sets
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases and data modelling
• Experience with agile, test-driven development and continuous delivery
